The Vatican released its top ten rock albums of all time Sunday, according to HuffPo’s Michael Kimmel. In an editorial in the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano”, the list includes such epic rockers as The Beatles, Pink Floyd and even Carlos Santana. In order, they are;

  1. The Beatles: “Revolver”
  2. Pink Floyd: “The Dark Side of the Moon”
  3. Oasis: “”Morning Glory”
  4. Michael Jackson: “Thriller”
  5. U2: “Achtung Baby”
  6. Fleetwood Mac: “Rumours”
  7. Donald Fagen: “The Nightfly”
  8. Carlos Santana: “Supernatural”
  9. Paul Simon: “Graceland”
  10. David Crosby: “If I Could Only Remember My Name”

Sounds Great! I can’t help wondering if maybe someone at the Vatican was inspired by Jason Pitzl- Waters‘ top ten album list from   A Darker Shade of Pagan?
