Pagan hand- fastings legal in Ireland
After five years of campaigning, the Pagan Federation Ireland has won the right to have Pagan weddings legally recognized in that country. Pagan couples will no longer need to conduct a civil ceremony in addition to a hand- fasting. According to Irish Central.com, there are currently eight wedding solemnizers being trained on how to carry out the weddings, and over 40 couples waiting to be wed in the age old tradition of hand- fasting, including an American couple.
