Pagan Pride Day is an annual event held in many cities across Canada, and the world. This year, Edmonton’s Northern Tribes travelled to beautiful Vernon, British Columbia, to take in the Okanagan Pagan Pride Day festivities. Typically held sometime near the Autumnal equinox, with most communities celebrating Pagan Pride Day at or near Mabon, Okanagan Pagan Pride Day may well be the first of many public celebrations this year.
Amongst the bustle and noise of a downtown park, local Pagans and passers by were treated to drumming, vendors, and an ADF Ritual written by Kelowna’s Andrea Hess, who is also hosting a two day retreat from October 14-16 at the Joyful Living Center in Kelowna, with special guest T. Thorn Coyle, author of ‘Kissing The Limitless’ and host of the popular podcast series ‘Elemental Castings’.
On hand for the ADF Ritual was Tad Seymour, newly elected Regional Druid for Western Canada, with the Hartwood Protogrove, and event organizer Sable Aradia. I spoke with Sable in a video interview below;
